Pumpkins and pumpkin spice lattes are back on the menu. Write!

Take the time to relax, relate, and release! Grab a journal or your phone to express your gratitude for moments of contentment or joy. All you must do is jot down a few words. “I am grateful for… because.” Refill your bucket with selfcare and selflove. Write and breathe through it.

There are several benefits to writing:

  • It lowers stress and anxiety
  • It helps you work through problem-solving
  • It inspires creativity and can shift of perspective
  • It keeps you mentally sharp as you mature
  • It promotes life-long learning

Accept that peace can be as simple as grabbing a piece of paper and writing in free verse or expressing the love of coffee in a gratitude app on your phone. It is inexpensive. It can be done 24/7. You can choose to be online or offline.
